MS.PUERTO PRINCESA 2017, KINORONAHAN NA

“And if ever tonight I will be crowned as Ms. Puerto Princesa, I will push my own advocacy which is to represent the women of our city and our country. Because women of Puerto Princesa are empowered yet inspiring”. Ito ang tinuran ni Mary Abbygaille Jane Tinay, 20 taon ng Barangay Masikap sa katanungan nagpapanalo sa kanya bilang Ms. Puerto Princesa 2017 sa gabi ng koronasyon noong March 4, 2017.

Simula pa lamang ay angat na ang ganda ni Abbygaille sa labing apat pang mga dalaga na official candidates ng nasabing beauty contest. Nasungkit ni Ms. Tinay ang Best in Casual Wear, Darling of the Press, Ms. MSE, at Ms. Ai World. Itinanghal na 1^st Runner up si Yvonne Rodriguez na napili ding Ms. Chez Rose. 2^nd Runner up si Nicole Padilla na itinanghal na Best in Talent. Pasok sa Top 8 sina Jeohlee Non na siyang Ms. Congeniality, Angel Ursais - Ms. Photogenic, Best in Evening Gown, Ms. Natasha Beauty at Ms. Sisters Choice Award, Reyna Michelle Ruhen na nakapag uwi ng special awards na Best in Swimsuit, Ms. Natasha at Ms. Before & After, Lyndellen Bihag, at Michaela Saludsod.

Sa tanong ni pageant judge Mr. Joe Agdeppa kay Abby Tinay na “If I am a Genie in a bottle and could grant you a wish, what would it be and why?” “ There is only one wish in my heart right now, and that would be being crowned to be Ms. Puerto Princesa 2017 tonight. Because being Miss Puerto Princesa is having a responsibility. It’s not all about having the crown but it’s all about fulfilling the job as Ms. Puerto Princesa”.

Ang iba pang mga kandidata ay sina Chinecky Arriesgado ng PTCI, Mary Christia Melitante ng Bgy. Mandaragat, Francis Recca Pocdol ng Bgy. San Miguel, Nikka Cyra Abes ng Bgy. Tiniguiban, Stephanie Idulog ng WPU, Patricia Ellaine Francisco ng HTU, at si Trisha Janine Caballero ng PPCI.

Ang search for Ms. Puerto Princesa 2017 ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng 145^th Founding Anniversary ng Puerto Princesa at 13^th Balayong Festival.
