To give more excitement to the coming of the New Year, the City Government of Puerto Princesa presents various activities such as film showing, sing along contest and trivia questions and a lot more surprises at the Puerto Princesa Baywalk in Barangay San Isidro. The program is under the grip of the Special Events Office. It is highlighted by special guests from the entertainment world from Manila as the young year slowly emerges and the extraordinary colors of 40 minutes fireworks display gleaming and sparkling in the air. It is to put every Puerto Princesans in a state of euphoria while converging as the old year sets off to disappear. The event starts from the setting of the sun of December 31 until the zero bits breaking the night and to mark the coming of the first day of the New Year.
