Aquino leads inauguration of Puerto Princesa Underground River as one of New Seven Wonders of Nature in Pasay City

MANILA, April 21 (PNA) -- President Benigno S. Aquino III will attend the official inauguration of the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature on Saturday night at the One Esplanade open grounds in Pasay City.

Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte made the announcement during an interview aired over government-run radio station dzRB Radyo ng Bayan.

Ochoa directs gov’t workers to support inauguration of PPUR as N7WN

MANILA, April 19 -- Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. has directed all government employees and concerned agencies to give their full support and participate in activities recognizing the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature (N7WN).

In a memorandum signed on April 12, Ochoa also enjoined local government units (LGUs) to extend assistance to the PPUR-N7WN Campaign Task Force, which will spearhead the inaugural ceremonies at One Esplanade in Pasay City on April 21.

Inauguration of PPUR as New 7 Wonders of Nature set

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan, April 18 (PIA) -- The official announcement and formal inauguration of the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature is set on April 21 with the participation of President Benigno Aquino III as the Keynote Speaker.

Bruce Weber, founder of the New 7 Wonders international campaign will officially make the declaration of the PPUR as one of the winners of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Polishing the plaque in preparation for the Philippines

The Official New7Wonders of Nature Inauguration ceremonies for the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) will take place in the Philippines at the weekend. A highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the commemorative plaque on Sunday at the PPUR site on the island province of Palawan.
